A busy day ends in the body long before it ends in the mind. Tension held in the shoulders, breath held shallow, eyes still chasing the last screen. None of these turn off on a schedule.
Lower one cue at a time
Pick one cue — the lamp, the sound, the posture — and lower it first. Layer in the others once the first feels automatic.
Do not finish the day
The day does not need to be finished; it needs to be released. Replace the word "finish" with "lower" in any routine you design.
The gentlest wind-down is one your body does not notice you are doing.
